ACADEMY OF CHURCH PLANTING AND LEADERSHIP

ACPL:

is a facilitating instrument for Bible Believing Churches and Missions for reaching India through planting indigenous missional churches.

intends to produce Church Leaders with Vision, Courage, Commitment, Character and Consecration for discipling the population of India through missional churches.

produces pioneering Church Planters, missional-pastors, mission executives, and missiological research through 4 disciplines.

is affiliated with “Indian Institute of Inter-cultural Studies” and all courses are accredited by them.

is also an associate member of “Asia Theological Association”.

has the endorsement of “India Missions Association” as our parent body. Bible Believing Churches and Missions is a bonafide member body of IMA.

has a positive rapport with major denominations and mission agencies of India.


ACPL has …

trained 200+ men and women from various parts of the country. Most of them are serving as powerful and productive instruments in the area of Church Planting and growth.

the joy of sharing that our trained instruments serve God in thirteen states of India.

the pride of sharing that our graduates have been securing the first two places among all other students versus the affiliated institutions of IICS in the past two to three years.

is enhancing the boundaries into regional segments.

is in the process of getting accredited in all our subjects by Asia Theological Association, as well.

is developing three extension centers in order to reach leaders more effectively.

desires to produce 100 Church Planting complimenting human instruments in every year.

plans to publish missional and missiological books for the Indian mission academic needs.

Why We are Going

During my recent trip to teach at the Seminary in Bangalore, India, Jayakumar (the founder of the ACPL Seminary), asked me if I would think about moving there for two years to teach and to help him start a Doctorate of Missiology program. After a month of praying and talking to several confidants, Erin and I believe God has directed us to accept the invitation. We will be leaving in July of 2008 for Bangalore, India for at least two years. We will spend two years in Bangalore teaching pastors and future pastors from all over India. These students come from the smaller churches in the outer areas of India to be trained for teaching and preaching within their small villages.

Your support will benefit many churches and villages, as the teaching we present will be utilized for many different communities. We will also be making a greater impact in Northern India, as we will be starting a new seminary there. I will be teaching at this new school twice a year in short stints until professors are found.

Other responsibilities will be to mentor students, teach at leadership training conferences, and develop Missional Counseling classes to be utilized in the field as an outreach tool and for missionaries, church members, and villagers who are hurting.

This will take the cooperation of many of you helping prayerfully and financially. Our desire is that you would consider partnering with us and donating to our mission in India. Help us make it possible for indigenous Indians to become Christian leaders and pastors so they can go to the 400,000 villages yet to hear the Word of God.

The total cost of the trip per year is $39,000.00, which covers moving, travel, housing and all living expenses. All money donated will be used solely for our mission, as no money is taken out by the mission agency for administration costs.
