The school has all Indian children, one Asian child, and Kayla. I have been told the kids think Kayla is like some kind of walking Barbie doll, with her blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes!!
The kitchen area at Kayla's school. Stairs go down into the back, so that the adult standing in the kitchen is at the level with the kids when they are washing hands and preparing foods (kids get to help make foods - fun!)

Circle time!!
Another shot of the school. In the back is a cloth-made tent area with toys inside. Kayla likes to play in this area!

Praise and Worship at the Spiritual Life Conference

Praise and Worship at the Spiritual Life Conference

This missionary spoke and gave an update of his work in India. He works mainly with people who practice polygamy and it is a slow process. They fear that he will tear their families apart, and he must painstakingly form relationships with these people first. Please pray for his work.

Elizabeth, a young lady staying with Uncle Jayakumar and helping with the minstry for a year, standing with the children she taught at the Spiritual Life Conference.

Keziah is the daughter of Pastor Phillip (see the Slums and Cemeteries blog article). She and Kayla became very good friends.
This is Abel, Pastor Phillip's son, and I can see him following in his father's footsteps. He and his sister truly love the Lord.
These two students did not speak very much English. I was impressed with how they worked with us despite this, and even memorized some Bible verses in English!

My girls love their Ta-Ta (Uncle Jayakumar).
Kayla and Lydia having a bonding moment!
